Not Cd wishlist

Hello Heather here. So my last wishlist was just Cds so I have decided to also do a stuff that isn't cd's wishlist ( although I have added to my cd wishlist ). SO here I give to you

My not Cd wishlist

Kitsch natural tie dye hair ties

Yeap I am in love with these overpriced Hair ties but I really like them. I have pretty thick hair which means it does all kinds of shiz and also if I just randomly tie it up it gets so annoying I take it down. Also I am a sucker for cute bracelets so I will wear these as bracelets most of the time.

Kraft cream A5 exersize notebook with plain pages

I would ask for the whole of paper chase but I think it is a little too expensive. But I am obsessed with brown covered A5 notebooks with plain pages. Also this one has brown pages in the middle so I thought I would do a little scrapbook section just for the cuteness.

Okay now a quicker list because reasons ( my laptop needs charging )

Maze runner books

I saw the trailer for the movie and thought it looked good so I have decided to try and read the books too :)

Pokemon Alpha sapphire

I pre ordered this ages ago and cannot wait. Technically it is not for Christmas but I wish to own this therefore it can be on my wishlist.

Yeah I know this is pretty darn short but I did my  Cd wishlist here
And I alo don't want much :)

I forgot to post but we had a family gathering thing and I have a life. So please don't be annoyed about that ^.^

I have updated my wishlist to what I will get for Christmas and it is way more in budget - like the previous wishlist added up to something like £250 so yeah...

This time round I am also posting the hyper links to the sites you can get the things from in case you like one of the ideas because I'm a good noodle. :3 Simply click the pictures. That idea failed so I just had to put the hyperlinks in, sorry about that chaps.

Present ideas for ... Mum

Hello everyone so I have decided to start doing lists of present ideas for all the peoples :) So I am going to do today's present ideas for your mum ( eyyy ) I am going to add 5 ideas that you can get her for rather cheap as I know that at Christmas time there are a lot of people to buy for and you don't want to spend all your money at once.

1. Chocolate - Or sweets but everyone loves chocolate. Also at Christmas time you can get some really nice boxes of chocolate that can be really nice and decorative that look really christmassy and nice

2. Bath and soap stuff - So who can't agree with soap right? You can get some really nice gift sets that again are christmassy and decorative

3. A picture of you two in a frame - A really cute and personal gift. Getting a photo printed at a shop is really cheap and frames are really nice too.

Colds and beds

Hello everyone. So as you may have collected from the past two posts it is CHRISTMAS COLD TIME! And Lena posted a list of cold strategies and stuff so I thought I would give my top cold tip.

Sleep and make your bed comfortable

So you know when you have a cold and every five mins have to st up and blow your nose , yeah. Also when I have a cold I get really cold except my head. As you can see I have a double bed so I usually arrange a pile of pillows so I can be more propped up. Being more propped up is better as it opens up your breathing and also all the snot goes down and not in your nose ( gross sorry )
Wrapping up warm and getting loads of blankets and pillows is one of my favourite things about Christmas.

Happy sleeping

Cold defence strategy!

Hello :)

I feel like I do a lot of lists and tips on this blog but oh wells. lel what can you do right

Like a very wise lady once said (basically the other 50% of this blog, lol she ain't dat wise ;p) - it's not truly winter without a cold.

Now you might know what I'm about to say.
.
.
.
I am REALLY ill.
.
.
.

Don't you just love waking up at 7am before school and realising I CAN'T BREATHEEEEEEE
And then you snort in all the mucus blocking your respiratory system Ha take that mucus full of antibodies I need!

Then the headache kicks in, and the pain on your whole face, and the sore throat. It all gets worse with every second until you realise. You have a cold.
*Insert dyn dyn dyyyyn here*

Throughout the two days I managed to come up with a few ways to deal with the painz to spare your souls - basically, I suffered so you can live.

1 - Take a shower

As lame as you might think this is, it works. If you have a severe case my whole face hurtiosis, then this is the remedy for you.
If you wear thick socks straight away as well, you'll keep them nice and warm so that's cool.
Also the steam can sometimes unblock your nose so that's cool.

2 - Take a nap
About 90% of my headaches is caused by going to bed at around 12 pm and then waking up at 7am... so that's fun. If  you have nothing to do and your head is about to pop, don't take painkillers because they don't work most of the time, just have a nap instead of collecting enough bells to build a cafe on Animal Crossing.

3 - Have tea
Like I mentioned before the steam can unblock your nose but also warm your insides which is nice since I'm always cold when I have a cold (see what I did there). So that's a thing.
Also you gets all your mucus inside of your nose, mouth and lung gets more liquidy and so you can cough/sneeze/blow it out easier.

That's all I could think of since colds are pesky little things and I try to ignore them :/
I shall see you lovely peeps in two days but for now...
92 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!

Getting dark

Hello how are you today? As it slowly gets darker in the winter I am getting a cold, so i am here in my bed with some tissues and doctor who. As it gets darker I am slowly wrapping up warm, slowly closing my curtains earlier and earlier and going to bed. But I have spent the summer being blasted with heat so today I opened my curtains and saw the beauty of an early dusk. Te way everything is dark except the glow of my fairylights. Slowly I am remebering that this is my favorite time of the day.
I would call it sunset of twilight or whatever the term is but it is my favorite. It is dark but not too dark. The sky turns a beautiful colour ( you cannot see on the photo but it is a brilliant orange and blue colour )

But all in all this time is beautiful and it happens once a day everyday. I guess the message is to treasure the small things and just because it is dark and cold it can be beautiful

Christmas Facts!

So I just read this meme with a weird Christmas fact and I was all like
Hey
Why don't make a post about it so here goes nothing!

10 Christmas facts!

Norwegian scientists hypothesized that Rudolph's nose is probably the result of a parasitic infection of his respiratory system (He has a boo boo in his lungs).

The Germans made the first fake Christmas tree out of dyed goose feathers.

The world’s largest Christmas stocking measured 106 feet and 9 inches (32.56 m) long and 49 feet and 1 inch (14.97 m) wide. It weighed as much as five reindeer and held almost 1,000 presents. It was made by the Children’s Society in London on December 14, 2007.

Santa Claus originated from a newspaper ad.

The "12 Days of Christmas" costs around 1.3 million dollars.

Santa didn't always have a beard.

Santa has an actual zip-code. It's organised by a Canadian postal service. And the code is of course H0H 0H0.

'Jingle Bells' was written for Thanks giving not Christmas.

Candy canes used to be pure white. That's weird in my book.

Iceland has 13 santas, including one that kidnaps children...

Thanks for joining in today!
I hope you enjoyed this post, and did you learn anything new?
Maybe leave a comment about it?

5 Winter Must Dos

Winters can be a really sucky season is you're a sweltering summer person, and not a freezing-don't-go-outside winter person like me. However, there is one thing that most people will agree on with me, is that feeling warm and calm in winter can be the best thing ever. I am like 100% with that and yet even I struggle with it sometimes (I mean with all the food around what else are you supposed to do). So, what I am about to do, is talk you through my 5 favourite things to do.

Ummm....

Roll the tape!

Hot Drinks

Don't you just love to just kinda take a break from the fast hassle that everyday life is by sitting down in your chair and taking a sip? Well let me tell you something that will change your life forever, it's even nicer in winter.
As if you didn't know that before.
I am the 1% that doesn't like either coffee or hot chocolate so my hot drink of choice is obviously tea. The brilliant thing about drinking hot drinks is that they make you really warm and therefore comfortable (saving up in dem heating bills).
Of course, I have no experience with coffee, but out of pure knowledge I suggest drinking the least coffee you can if your purpose is to calm down.

Jumpers

Yet another way to save on dem heating bills! There is a lot to jumpers that will make winter that bit easier, especially if you get one of good quality that you could just wear all day!
They're practical, don't get sweaty and of course cuddly :3
I only realised I wore them in summer too...
(England doesn't have the best weather).

Calm Entertainment

You might laugh at me when I say this: but sometimes it's good to take a break from scrolling through your Facebook newsfeed and do something different.
Stupid right?
Well, not really.
It's sometimes really good to take yourself away from the reality and enter the world of books, video games, tv shows or even your imagination (drawing, duh). It's all very calming, honestly, you get to settle down without having to anger over how many pointless selfies there are out there.

Take a nap

Definatley my favourite thing to do. Just pull out some blankets and nap away all your problems whilst calming down and warming up at the same time! Simples!
Warning: Napping doesn't magically do all your homework for you.

Prepare for Christmas

At one point or another you will need to do this, so why not make it into an activity and make it fun? You'll get to sit down and think about stuffs. (Which is calming by the way, I need to say either warm or calm in every single sentence in this post). I've started doing this at the beginning of Autumn so you know... I've got my seasons right...

Alright guys, I hope you enjoyed this, mainly pictures post but ya know we do post everyday so you better appreciate the work we do!

TRUTH!

And besides it took me about an hour to get the pictures themselves...

See yall in a bit!

Christmas Baths

Hello there :) So int the winter I like to have baths and when I have a bath I like to use a bath bomb ie a lush bath bomb. I love lush and all the things there however I do prefer the bubble bars to the bath bombs as I think they are more moisturizing and also do not stain my bath ( because after a nice bath the last thing I want to do is clean it out ). So yes technically this is Christmas Bubble bars and some of these products are not even bubble bars :/.

My favorite Christmas bath bombs and stuff

Firstly there is my favorite ever lush product   which is the Comforter. Every time I get something from lush I always get one of these too. They last about four baths ( cut it into quarters) and they moisturize your skin so nicely and I adore the scent. I honestly cannot even remember how many of these I have had but this is a firm favorite

Another Christmas favorite from last year is The bath wand (right)  had this for the whole of  December and most of January. I never knew that bath wands existed but like the comforter this one lasts a while

Also there is The Christmas eve bath bomb . I remember having my Christmas eve bath last year. I get so excited on Christmas eve and this bath bombs soothing Jasmine scent was really relaxing.

Happy christmas bathing :/ This year I am planning to buy four different bath bombs and have one every weekend in December

Obsession with Fairy Lights + How I'm decorating my room

Hello! I am writing a late post like always but YOLO!
Ugh, never again.

So fairy lights! We've already mentioned them before, and I am going to mention them in today's post.
And they'll probably be mentioned later too.
What can you do though, they have so much swag.
Ugh, never again.

Recently I got really into the whole Christmas spirit thing (hence the blog, duh) and that includes me really wanting to have my bedroom top notch for Christmas as I spend a lot of time here. And that, as you might have guessed includes fairy lights. Sooooo before I introduce you to those let me talk you through my deco ideas:

  • Fairy lights as main lighting
  • Christmas cards hung on a string in my window
  • Those hung up with mini green and red clothes pegs
  • Christmas Bedding
  • Christmas Pillows on bed and in mini cosy corner (that doesn't exist)
  • Christmas stickers here and there
  • Decorate notice board
  • Gather a large crowd of teddies
  • Hang the cards on thick golden thread
That's pretty much all the ideas I had so far. You see I enjoy interior decorating but when it comes to certain things I have a mind block. Deja vu?

Onto the fairy lights!

Previously, I had only one strand of warm white fairy lights, and that recently transformed into 7 strands of different colours. And those include...

4 strands of 20 LED white warm bulbs. I plan these to go on my desk, bed headboard, chest of drawers and this chest with pillows I have.

I also have 2 multicoloured fairy lights. They're in the usual red, yellow, blue and green colours. I got these with the thought of putting them on my door frame.

Last and not least I have the blue snowflake fairy lights. They're a little shorter than I wanted them to be but I can live with it. These I wanted to go on my window in between my Christmas cards.

The plan is to put them out at some point in November or at the start of December to warm up the area a bit and I think that warm white lights make the area seem a lot more fun and warm than the ordinary light bulb so that's fantastic for decorating your space for Christmas. This is a really big other reason I an't wait for Christmas, because I love me some fairy lights. ^.^

I got all of these from Ebay, and they were all under £2 except from the snowflake lights, those were around £4. I had to scavenge some batteries from around the house which made the lights quite dim (I needed 14 batteries ok) but I bought a pack of 8 a few days ago and they did make these a lot more distinct and brighter so all in all the quality is good.

One more thing is how well these blend in especially if you have white walls like me, so in day time you can't see these.

Hope ya'll enjoyed.
See ya next time!
