Greetings, I am Lena.

Hello there chaps! It is wonderful to meet you! I'm Lena, and as it was said in the previous welcome post, me and Heather are best buds. I hope you enjoy our little 'Over-the-top-christmas-hype' blog (OTTCHB for short (I just made that up)) and instead of telling us to shut up you'll enjoy Christmas together with us ^.^

A little bit about me:

This section is probably useless because I'm about to answer like 20 questions in a minute but oh wells.

I love organising things but on the whole I am very unorganised.

I buy a ton of things with the hopes to enjoy them but never use them in the end - a great example will be books and video games... AND STATIONERY. 

I want a ton of stuff during the year and when it comes to Christmas/my birthday, I blank out. (Although I can tell you a tip later on).

Lets try to keep this short as I tend to ramble on a lot.

Do not EVER give me a christmas card that says xmas.

Favorite Christmas movie? Damn, well I hardly ever watch Christmas movies, but it will have to be How the Grinch stole Christmas.

-Are you on the Naughty list or the Nice list? Well I tend to be a rebel all the time but that's in my head because I'm scared of getting told off... so yeah. Nice list. Hopefully.

-Show us an embarrassing Christmas Card photo! I'm grateful for not having one of those.

-Have you ever had a White Christmas? I used to when I was a lot smaller. Ya know, there was no global warming. :P

-Where do you usually spend your holidays? Well me and my family have this AWESOME tradition where we spend our Christmas at HOME! Crazy right!...

-Play or sing your favorite Christmas song! So except for it having Xmas in the title it is obvious what it is. I changed my mind.

-Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve? Well my family celebrates the main day of Christmas on Christmas Eve so we open all of our presents after Christmas dinner. 

-Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Gurlllll I only know Rudolph.

-What holiday tradition are you looking forward to most this year? In general the whole time spent as holiday seems so nice to me. However, this year I am putting more effort into decorating my room this year so that will be fun. And decorating the Christmas tree too of course!

-Is your Christmas tree real or fake? To me Christmas without the smell of a forest in the house isn't Christmas.

-Hands down, what's your all-time favorite holiday food and holiday sweet treat? Mushroom and Cabbage dumplings. It sounds disgusting but it is literally the food of Zeus. And I don't know what my sweet treat would be, I'm not all that into sweets during Christmas.

-Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better? I prefer giving gifts but because my budget is limited I can't give people cool gifts so if they give me something I really wanted... Then I prefer receiving because I don't have to see the disappointment in people's eyes. + I get a really cool thing.

-Show us your tackiest Christmas attire! Please ignore my hair - I bleached it recently. Hahaha... haha. ha...

-What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season? I'm the stay at home and eat all day type of Christmasy person.

-Does your family have a special holiday recipe you like to help make? Well we have this weird recipe which we call Pasta and Strawberries (creative I know) in which you have to mash strawberries and cook pasta. Mashing strawberries is very stress reliving, especially if you forgot to get a gift for your dog. 

-Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably? I really do love wrapping gifts and I like to think of myself as of a pro, but I'm an inbetweener.

-Most memorable Holiday moment? Nothing that stand out really, I love all of them equally. Other than almost crying because my parents bought a midget christmas tree. I was 7 OKAY!

-What made you realize the truth about Santa?  I met him about 2 years ago in this shopping mall. Turns out he's not as fat as people say.

-Do you make New Years resolutions? Do you stick to them? I try to. Most of them are about exercising more since I hardly ever leave the house. Ya know, I like my room, there's wifi here. But I pretty much never stick to them.

-What makes the Holidays special for you? The food, the christmas spirit, everybody being nice, the atmosphere, the winter season, exchanging gifts, everybody coming together. Its pretty much the happiest time of my life and I love everything about it. :)
